WCR team carries out surprise inspection

In view of directives issued by WCR Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) S K Das to obtain feedback from passengers on working pattern of employees, a team headed by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) Anand Kumar along with DCM Manoj Gupta and DCM Sunil Kumar Shrivastava carried out surprise inspections at Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Rewa and Narsinghpur. The extensive feedback mechanism being evolved by CCM would remain effective for 72 hours duration.

According to information, in view of directives issued by CCM S K Das to obtain passenger feedback, 72 hours intensive feedback from passengers has been started. On Thursday, a team comprising Senior DCM Anand Kumar along with DCM Manoj Gupta and DCM Sunil Kumar Shrivastava carried out surprise inspection to obtain passenger response on working of Railway employees. Under the move started, the team of officers from Commercial Department of Jabalpur division carried out inspection at booking office, parcel, reservation office and interacted with passengers and sought information of any case of irregularity/over charging and the like aspects. The team also obtained feedback from passengers on the sale of eatables by vendors and whether they were victim of overcharging from vendors. They also sought information about parking and pay and use facility. Eight vendors were found indulging in illegal sale of eatables. Of the eight, six vendors fled Jabalpur leaving their eatables container. Senior DCM Jabalpur Anand Kumar informed that the feedback move would continue in days to follow.
