Silk India expo cum sale begins

FOR experiencing the amazing products of cotton, silk, handloom made by master craftsmen from all over India displayed in 90 stalls, one has to visit the Silk India exhibition cum sale underway at Chitnavis Centre, near Hislop College, Civil Lines. The expo will remain open from 11 am to 9.30 pm.
On Friday the Silk India expo opened its doors and much to the surprise of the organisers received an overwhelming response from the citizens. The expo will continue upto February 14.

The stall participants are directly selling their products at the lowest rates directly to the customers. Silk India expo displays a huge variety of exclusive and attractive silk and cotton sarees, dress material, suits, stoles, duppattas, kurtas, kurties along with fashion jewellery and artefacts for home décor products.

The specialities include a host of varieties like Bhagalpuri Tassar, Kosa and Khadi silk of Bihar, Lucknow Chikan, Jamdani and Banaras silk from Uttar Pradesh, Chanderi and Maheshwari silk of MP, Patola, Bandhani and Kutch embroidery from Gujarat etc.
