Discussion on General Budget organised at RDU

A discussion on General Budget 2018 was organised by University Management Institute and Department of Economics, Rani Durgawati University. IN the budget discussion at UIM Conferene hall, Vice Chancellor, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra was chief guest while Professor Bipin Bihari Beohar former Chairman, Public Service Commission, Indore, Professor ADN Vajpayee, former Vice Chancellor, Shimla University, Professor Economics Department, RDU, Umesh Pillai, Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax, Mahesh Shukla, Income Tax Officer, Kiran Bhai Amin, SK Gupta, former Director SSB, Sandeep Vijan, MLUS General Secretary, D R Jaiswani, Allahabad Bank Manager, Ben Joseph, Professor Ramashankar, Chartered Accountant, Anil Agrawal, Ajay Bakhtawar, S K Chadda, Professor Shailesh Choubey, Director University Institute of Management were present Dr Ashish Sharma, Assistant Professor UIM welcomed the guests. Noted industrialist, Kiran Amin given highlights of the Budget and described provisions point wise.

IT Deputy Commissioner, Umesh Pillai expressing concern on declining sensitivity, tolerance in society and also appreciated the healthy political policies of the government. Political Science Professor Ramashankar, Chartered Account, Anil Agrawal have decribed the budged in different aspects and mentioned the Budget a Historic documents in the history of country which would give new dimension to the development of the country.

Dr. Narendra Shukla, Professor and Head Gyan Ganga Institute of Ethnology said that Budget is a step towards transforming our economy to formal economy. Dr Narendra Koshti also shared his views on Budget positive impact on economy.

Professor ADN Vajpayee said Budget is a mechanism of self development. In Budget only micro changes are mentioned while it does not give any major change. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra said that Budget Provisions would have long term positive impact on economy of the country. At the end a quiz contest was oragnised for students based on Budget. At the end head Professor Shailesh Choubey proposed vote of thanks.
