The 51st oath taking ceremony of Non-teaching Employees Association of Rani Durgavati University (RDU) took place in presence of Mahamandleshwar Swami Shri Akhileshvaranand Giri Maharaj at Pt Kunjilal Dubey auditorium on Sunday.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kapil Dev Mishra presided over the programme which was attended by Mayor Dr Swati Godbole, MLA Ashok Rohani, MiC member Kamlesh Agrawal and Registrar, Dr B Bharti as special guests.

Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Dr Mishra appealed the employees, officers and professors to compliment each other's works to build a positive and constructive atmosphere in the university campus. Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mishra administered pledge of sincerity and devotion to the newly appointed office-bearers of Employees Association.

Mayor Dr Godbole said that proper co-ordination between officers and employees would definitely reap positive results for the betterment of the students and university. MLA Ashok Rohani, MiC member Kamlesh Agrawal and former President, Banshbahor Patel also expressed their views during the programme and appealed the newly appointed office-bearers to work together for the development of the university. Registrar, Dr. Bharti motivated the newly appointed office-bearers to keep discipline and fulfill the rules and work for the betterment of the university.

Following which, the newly appointed President of Employees Association, Baishakhu, General Secretary, Virendra Tiwari, Vice-President, Sanjay Mishra and other office-bearers felicitated the invited dignitaries by presenting mementoes. The programme was compeered by university engineer Vinod Jaroliya while Virendra Tiwari proposed the vote of thanks. Others who attended the programme included vice-president, Ramsajivan Soundhiya, Abhishek Mourya, Jaishankar Pandey, Omprakash Yadav and Ajay Srivas, officers and employees, professors and a large number of students.
