Dr Sharma donates 15 acre land for progress of tribal community

FORMER Vice-chancellor of Rani Durgavati University (RDU), Dr Sureshwar Sharma has donated 15 acres land based at Shahdol district to Mahakoshal Vananchal Shiksha Sewa Nyas of Vidya Bharti Mahakoshal region on Monday.
Main objective behind this initiative of Dr Sharma was to ensure social upliftment and academic upgradation of the tribal community. Dr Sharma who spent his childhood amidst of tribal community, said that only education could ensure progress and development of each and every person of the society.

Vidya Bharti will work to fulfil his dream of progress for tribal brothers, by developing areas as ‘Madhuvan’ and work for academics, cultural and overall development of the tribal community. During a simple programme, Dr Sharma handed over the documents of land to Prant Sangathan Mantri, Vidya Bharti, Dr Pawan Tiwari at the office situated at Shastri Bridge on Monday. National Vice-president of Saksham, Dr Pawan Sthapak, former Chairman, MPPSC, Dr Vipin Bihari Byohar, head of All India Girl’s Education, Rekha Chudasama, President of Saraswati Sahitya Parishad, Dr Sudhir Agrawal, President, Vananchal Shiksha Samiti, Bahadur Singh Vadiva, Arun Patewar, Secretary, Keshav Shiksha Samiti, Dr Aditya Mishra, Prant Pramukh and Vijay Jain especially attended the programme.

Programme was conducted by Prerna Editor, Purushottum Namdeo while vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Vijay Anand Maravi, Secretary, Vananchal Shiksha Sewa Nyas.
