Over 100 gynaecologists took part in State-level workshop at Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital

State-level workshop on Laparoscopy and Histroscopy concluded at Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital on Sunday. Ten cases of live surgery were performed on the first day of workshop. The workshop was jointly organised by Woman and Gynaecology department and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society. Laparoscopy experts from Dubai, Delhi and Agra performed the surgeries at major operation theatre at Emergency Obstructive Critical Care Hall and through projector experts came from all over the state saw the live surgery. During the two days workshop test for infertility, Laparoscopy Hysterectomy with Sunrise Method and Grass Veg Adenectomy were explained. Over 100 gynaecologists took part in the workshop.

The workshop was organised under the Chairmanship of Medical College Dean Dr Abha Singh. Aim of the workshop was to give proper training to staffs and students on use of modern technique. Dr Hafiz Rahman, Dr Nikita Trehan and Dr Amit Tandon eminent Laparoscopy experts took part in the workshop. Many rare surgery which were not done in the institute before were demonstrated to the participants.
Dr Tripti Nagariya, Women and Gynaecology Department Head informed that visit of Dr Rahman, was an achievement for hospital. Many operations were performed and students got an opportunity to learn techniques of operation.
Dr Manoj Chelani, President of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society informed that Hysteroscopy is a safe process in which complications in uterus are detected and treated. Dr Jyoti Jaiswal informed that live operative cases complications in Laparoscopy were studied on Sunday.
