Charges are flying thick in by poll-bound Assembly seat of Mungawali in Ashok Nagar. Addressing a mammoth rally in Mungawali, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took on Congress and held it responsible for backwardness of region. Chouhan accused Congress of stonewalling the development chances of region.

Chouhan addressed a huge gathering of people after BJP candidate for Mungawali Assembly by-poll Bai Sahab Yadav filed her nomination papers on Tuesday. Chouhan said that Congress has been least bothered about development of Mungawali and it also created impediment in the path of development. He claimed that State Government had prepared to distribute Rs 45 crore as drought relief, but Congress did not like it and hence drought relief money distribution was stopped.

Promising to bring flood of development works in Mungawali, CM Chouhan said that Mungawali will be developed as smart city and employment opportunities will be increased.
On this occasion, BJP National Vice President Prabhat Jha also addressed the gathering. He said Mungawali by-election is between people living in palaces and people. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also held Congress responsible for backwardness of Mungawali and said Congress did nothing for local development in Mungawali. He also counted various successful schemes of State Government to lure the voters.
