Foreign delegation discusses industrial climate in India

A foreign delegation led by Associate Professor Steven White from Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Associate Director, Tsinghua x-lab, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, China along with research scholars Alex Rudnichi, MIT MBA student, Mio Rudiniki, researcher of Intellectual Property Law and Hu Xiboting, PhD student and discussed the issues related to industrial atmosphere and entrepreneurship in India.

MCCI Spokesperson, Akhil Mishra informed that foreign delegation of Economics and Business Research led by Professor Steve White from China discussed the impact of economic and industrial policies of Bharatiya Janata Party Government in its three years regime on industrial health and entrepreneurship. The members also discussed Indian conditions in view of world market conditions and increasing influence of Indian market in international trade and business.
Chamber President, Ravi Gupta addressing the meet described the long-term but aggressive policies support industries and investment being implemented by the Government of India. Point wise, he described the positive impact and negatives of policies on the economy and its long-term benefits. Considering Jabalpur as centre and its 100 km radius, the tourism possibilities and its upliftment were discussed at length so that tourism sector could be enhanced.
Professor Steve White discussed the ongoing Smart City Project and related works being implemented in Jabalpur and also appreciated the works incepted in Smart City project for the development of city making living easy for the citizen. He, along with other members of delegation, appreciated the ongoing cleanliness campaign Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and participation of citizens in it.

MCCI office bearers who were present included Vice President, Shantilal Patel, Honorary Secretary, Hemraj Agrawal, Akhil Mishra, Arpit Agrawal, ECO Soft’s Samuel Francis and Ayushi Yadav were present and welcomed foreign delegation by presenting mementoes.
