Over 7,000 devotees demanding devpt of facilities for Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama

A delegation of Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama Samiti handed over a memorandum duly signed by the above 7,000 Narmada devotees demanding development of facilities for Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama between Lamhetaghat and Saraswatighat.

Receiving the memorandum Collector Mahesh Chandra Choudhary assured to initiate work in this regard and to initiate work for development.
Collector informed the Narmada Panchkoshi Parikarma Samiti delegates led by Sharad Agrawal that as per the assurance of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Namami Devi Narmade Narmada Sewa Yatra for construction of permanent bridge crossing river Narmada at Bhedaghat and Saraswatighat the proposals have been sent to Bhopal for further approvals.

As soon the approval would be given with foundation laying ceremony the work of both the bridges would be started.
On Kartik Poornima on November 23, 2018 till now around 290 days are left in which lakhs of Narmada devotees from different parts of the country would participate. And as per tradition would participate in the Panchkoshi Parikrama on banks Holy river Narmada in Jabalpur district.
In order to remind administration on demands of Narmada devotees and also to pace up the process so that the bridges could be constructed and safety of people coming from different parts of the country to attend the Panchkoshi Parikrama could be ensured.

Samiti members informed that in order to hold Parikrama of holy river Narmada on the line of world famous parikrama of Bhagwan Kamtanath Giri and Bhagvan Govardhan Maharaj Parikarma at Vrindawan the Samiti is working to develop resources. The construction of both the bridges would not only develop tourism possibilities and also in spiritually devotees would gain momentum.
