Guest teachers stage protest at Paraswara

Levelling allegation of negligence and partiality with the guest teachers, the members of Athithi Shikshak Sangh, on the call of the state body to press demand of regularization and wage revision, staged demonstration rally. Protesting teachers have handed over a memorandum to the Tehsildar Praswada addressed to Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
In large number the Teachers have participated in the protest rally and expressed their pains and problems through memorandum tried to raise their voice.

It may be mentioned that since last 10 years the Atithi Shikshak (Guest Faculty) are providing their services in the Education Department. They are conducting academic as well as other curriculum activities. In many schools it is observed that the Guest teachers are carrying out more works then regular teachers. In the memorandum teachers have appealed the State Government to pay attention on their demands so that teachers who are building future citizen with responsibility may not fail in caring their children.

The teachers expressing their ire towards their ignorance and partiality with them have warned the State Government to stop the partiality and otherwise the protest would be intensified by the teachers and the strike would be continued. Block President, Rajesh Dubey informed that following wrong policies of government the teachers are protesting and have no other option to go on strike. As they are getting minimum wages and only assurance of wage revisions since last ten years but in these years government has not given attention on their condition. He added that to press their demands from February 20 onwards the indefinite strike would be organised.
Rajesh Dubey, Yuvraj Tembre, Devendra Meshram, Harsh Pandey, Dharmendra Sharnagat, Yogesh Balie, Praveen Bisen, Devendra Uikey, Demeshwari Turkar, Kunta Bisen, Sangeeta Choudhary, Yogita Turkar, Meenakshi Amule, Sunita Parte, Abid Qureshi and others were present.
