2 crore Indians travel abroad every year, says Rajan Dau'

MORE and more Indian tourists including students are going abroad and the number is increasing year after year, said Rajan Dau, Managing Director of Udaan India Private Limited, India’s leading Visa facilitation company headquartered at Delhi.

Dau, was talking to a section of media during his visit to city recently at the sidelines of 21st anniversary celebration of Nova Tours and Travels.
Udaan India was the first company to launch its Visa Portal in the year 2000, having leading edge over all other Visa facilitators and had carved a niche for itself as a distinguished leader in the travel industry. “There are about 1,000 Visa facilitators, in India. We are daily processing 1,200 daily applications,” he claimed.

He said, there is annual increase of 15 per cent abroad travellers, with maximum number for South East Asian countries, followed by UK, USA and Canada.
The number of students studying abroad is also increasing remarkably. Dau said, “People in abroad are respecting Indians. Now only around 80 countries are asking for Visa. Most of the countries like UK are relaxing Visa policy and even fees for Indians which is a good sign,” he said.

“Two crore Indians travel abroad every year,” he said. Udaan India Private Limited has branches in places like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and other seven cities. Two tier city were also having good potential and the company has future plan to extend it presence in such cities.
