Temperature increases in parts of State

DRY and sultry weather condition prevails in Bhopal and other parts of the State. The highest maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius was registered in Khargone, Ratlam and Rajgarh. In last twenty four hours, maximum temperature in Jabalpur division remained at normal level. But maximum temperature of district in Sagar, Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain divisions were substantially above normal level.

In the meantime, minimum temperature in Shahdol division fallen down significantly. The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius was recorded in Mandla. The duty officer of Weather Department said that frequency of western disturbance had increased. Meanwhile, there is cycle in central Madhya Pradesh and owing to this reason, outflow of winds is disturbed in the State.

Bhopal recorded maximum temperature at 37.8 degree Celsius, Gwalior 37.8 degree Celsius followed by Guna 38.2 degree Celsius, Ratlam 38 degree Celsius, Khandwa 37.5 degree Celsius and Jabalpur 26.6 degree Celsius. As weather is changing rapidly, seasonal diseases like fever and cough are increasing subsequently. Hospitals are flooded with the cases of fever and cough.
