Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three -year (six semesters) Professional Master's Degree course and students who have studies BCA, B.Sc.(IT), B.Sc. (Computer Science) can enrolled directly in Second year course under lateral entry scheme.
Eligibility criteria:
For the students aspiring for MCA, the minimum qualification prescribed by the AICTE for the course by all the Universities in India is graduation, which is done through 10+2+3 pattern. Student must score at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). Student must have studied Mathematics as an essential subject at +2 or in graduation for admission to MCA.
Required Documents:

l Scanned photograph and signature that follow to the required specifications as given in the guideline for photograph and signature scan and upload.
l Personal email ID and mobile number and it should be kept active.

Entrance Examination Syllabus:
MCA CET is one of the common MCA Entrance Exam in India which is conducted by only once in a year by every state in India under Directorate of Technical Education, India. The mode of examination is online and consists of objective type questions to be finished in specified time. Negative marking system is generally adopted during the entrance test. Most of the universities and autonomous colleges include the questions from the following areas:
Mathematics & Statistics:
It consists of Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Arithmetic, Set Theory and Functions, Mensuration, etc.
Logical/Abstract Reasoning:
This section will cover logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage. This test shall check the problem solving capability of the candidate.
English comprehension and
verbal ability:
This section will test the candidate’s general understanding of the English language. There will be questions on the topics such as Basic English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, sentence correction, word & phrases, jumbled paragraph.
Computer Concepts:
This section contains Computer Basics, Data Representation, Computer Architecture, Computer Language, Operating System basics, C language, Data structures etc.
