‘Scouts & Guides symbol of discipline, sense of service’

GOVERNOR Anandiben Patel while addressing 25th Scout-Guide rally and Investiture Ceremony said that Scouts and Guides is symbol of disciple, hard work, dedication and dedication towards service, on Tuesday.She was of the view that success of Government’s welfare schemes and programmes are assured with the support of Scouts and Guides.She added that Scout movement is the world’s biggest academic movement of youths in uniform. In this, the youth play creative role for world peace, brotherhood and harmony. Door to this organisation is open to all sections of the society irrespective of caste discrimination. She said that it is the responsibility of Scouts and Guides to imbibe Indian culture and civilisation and explain their colleagues about the importance of social service.

Energy Minister and State Commissioner of Scouts and Guides Paras Jain said that over 10,000 Scouts & Guides gave commendable contribution during the ‘Simhastha’ held in State. He said that yoga training is given to Scouts and Guides which is must for health. Jain urged Governor that instead of handing over Scouts and Guides building to Airport Authority, Government should provide the same amount of space for constructing Scouts and Guides building.Chairperson of Women Commission Lata Wankhede, former MLA Guttu Bhaiyya, Secretary Education Department Ashok Bhargav, Commissioner Scout Prakash Sisodia, Commissioner Guide Chandrakanta and State Secretary Scout Guide Alok Khare were present on the occasion.
