Five masked men loot cash from filling station on NH 7

Five masked men looted cash of Rs 35,000 from a filling station on National Highway – 7 in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday in village Chorgarthia. The accused reached the filling station in a Bolero jeep and threatened the workers with sharp-edged weapons and escaped after looting cash of Rs. 35,000 from the filling station.Taking a serious note into the case, Superintendent of Police, Tarun Nayak has declared cash reward of Rs. 20,000 for apprehending or giving any information about the accused. The name of informer will not be disclosed for safety measures.The incident took when filling station workers, Monu Janghela (27), resident of village Binjhawara and Arvind Rajput (24) were standing at filling station and another worker, Tulsiram Prajapati, a resident of village Bheemgarh was sleeping in the cabin. Meanwhile, five unidentified men with their faces covered with masks reached the filling station in a Bolero jeep and threatened the filling station tenders on the tip of knife. Miscreants snatched mobile handsets from workers and entered the cabin of filling station. They also snatched mobile phone from Tulsiram, looted cash and managed to escape from the spot in their bolero jeep. According to workers, the looters reached at filling station in a Bolero jeep and one of them asked for drinking water and returned in the jeep. Just after 15-minutes, five masked men arrived in another Bolero jeep and conducted loot incident. They informed that the same kind of loot was conducted at the filling station one year back on April 18. Learning about the incident, police teams from four police stations reached the spot and started investigation into the case. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of loot while further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
