PHA’s National youth introductory meet on 14th, 15th

PUNJABI Hindu Association following its rich tradition, once again will provide a platform where youngsters of marriageable age can choose their life partners by attending 28th National Youth Introductory Meet. Similarly, Baisakhi will be celebrated with all traditional fervour in inspiring presence of eminent personalities. This was informed by president of Punjabi Hindu Association, Chandrakumar Bhanot during a press conference on Thursday. Bhanot informed that Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha, Vivek Krishna Tankha will inaugurate two-day 28th National Youth Introductory Meet at Punjabi Baraat Ghar, Napier Town on Saturday at 10 am in presence of MLA, Tarun Bhanot. The meet will be organised on April 14 and 15.


The same day Baisakhi Mahotsav 2018 will be inaugurated at the auditorium of Home Science College at 7.30 pm in presence of senior social worker, Sukhveer Kochar as chief guest while Tarun Bhanot as special guest. PHA President, Chandra Kumar Bhanot will preside over the programme.
The office-bearers of PHA informed that youths in different professors and different age groups are going to attend the introductory meet from various parts of the State and nation. The PHA has arranged lodging and board for three members of the registered families. The Association has constituted different committees for welcome, registration, enquiry, lodging, transport, boarding, stage arrangement, announcement of cards, match making, medical, computer arrangement for matching kundalis, cultural activities and other arrangements to ensure success of introductory meet. Similarly, various cultural programmes including Punjabi folk, Gidda and other folk dances will be staged at the auditorium of Mohanlal Hargovind Das Home Science and Science Autonomous College on April 14 at 7.30 pm. Senior social worker, Sukhbeer Kochar will grace the programme as chief guest while MLA Tarun Bhanot will present as special guest.
