‘Women’s wing will play important role in 4th term of BJP Govt’

BHARATIYA Janata Party Women’s Wing State Incharge and party State Secretary Krishna Gaur said that women wing does work for expanding the party and ideology among 50 per cent population hence, it will play important role in forming fourth term BJP Government in the State. Krishna Gaur was addressing meeting of BJP women wing Bhopal and Narmadapuram at State BJP Headquarters on Friday. Earlier, Krishna Gaur and BJP women wing State President Lata Elkar garlanded the pictures of Rajmata Scindia, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay, Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee and inaugurated the meeting.

Krishna Gaur said that Mission-2018-19 has come closer and in such time women wing should chalk out programmes keeping in view the forthcoming elections. She said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during winter session has nodded the bill about capital punishment to the rapists convicted in rape case of minor girls of below 12 years of age. Gaur said this bill is to be implemented after the approval of Union government. Krishna Gaur said that a letter with signature of 30 lakh women wing members will be handed over to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to request the union government to implement the bill as Act. She expressed satisfaction over the programmes organised by BJP women wing.

Lata Elkar said that a team of five members of women wing will be constituted for each booth in the state till May 15 and divisional level conference will be organised in May. Mahila Chaupal will be organised at 15 places in each assembly constituency in June month and the women will be given information about state government policies for the welfare of women and women empowerment. BJP women wing leaders and activists including Seema Singh, Usha Chaturvedi, Sarita Deshpandey, Shreshtha Joshi, Jyoti Dubey, Bhavana Singh. Nisha Saxena and others were present in the meeting.
