CM dedicates country’s 2nd largest Start-Up Incubation Centre ‘36 Inc’

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Friday dedicated the country’s second largest Start-Up Incubation Centre ‘36 Inc’ in the capital. The Start-Up industrialists are provided with ultra-modern techniques and latest gadgets. The Centre consists of 3-D printers, laser cutter, electronic testing and multi-media construction facilities. 125 Start-Up industrialists started their works immediately after the launch of the Centre. The Chief Minister while encouraging the budding Start-Up industrialists said that with the inauguration of Start-Up Incubation Centre ‘36 Inc’ a new era had dawned on Chhattisgarh. It will give an opportunity to the young entrepreneurs to develop their talent. The State and the country will get a new direction with the implementation of innovative ideas. Dr. Raman Singh was addressing the ‘Frugal Innovative Conference’ organised by the Commerce and Industry Department in the capital.

Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh had unlimited talented youth with full of potential. Chief Minister said he had met 150 youth during the launch of Incubation Centre. Young industrialists are working in the fields of health, education, agriculture, organic farming and sports. They can help in developing health-education facilities in the interiors of remote areas of Bastar. Health Mobile Applications can help in reducing infant and maternal mortality rates in the State. Dr. Raman Singh said that Chhattisgarh is Nation’s Power Hub. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu congratulated the State for launching Start-Up Incubation Centre through video message. State Industry Minister Amar Agrawal said that Five Start-Ups had provided employment to 500 youth in the State.

Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Chairperson Chhagan Mundara, Chief Secretary Ajay Singh, Information Technology Department Principal Secretary Aman Singh, Atal Innovation Mission, Niti Ayog, New Delhi Mission Director Raman Ramanathan, CHiPS Chief Executive Officer Alex Paul Menon, ‘36 Inc’ Incubation Centre Chief Executive Officer Rajeev Rai were also present.Dr Singh also inaugurated five new products developed by the Start-Up industrialists. Alex Paul Menon said that this is the first ‘Incubation-cum-Accelerator’ Centre established by Chhattisgarh State Government. ‘36 Inc’ institution will function as ‘Incubation-cum-Accelerator’ hub for the entire State. ‘36 Inc’ Centre has Speed Prototyping Lab which is the latest in the country.
