MP Singh praises State farmers for setting new records in agriculture

“It is by virtue of toil carried out by farmers of Madhya Pradesh that the State has become leader in agriculture production having set new records in agriculture production across India”, said MP Rakesh Singh while addressing large number of farmers who congregated for Kissan Samman Yatra held Khamariya and Pipariakala of Panagar assembly segment. The sitting MP Jabalpur felicitated farmers for their outstanding contribution in agriculture.

Welcoming the farmers on the occasion he said it is due to hard work of farmers from the state that we have set new record in agriculture production, as chief minister Shivraj SIngh Chouhan has brought significant change in the state and the fortune of farmers. In the area of agriculture the work done during last 55 years, the MP government in 14 years has done more than what was done.He said the Bhawantar yojna of state government has proved of immense worth for farmers as around 17 lakh defaulter farmers against whom a loan of Rs 2600 crore interest was waived off and were given loan at zero percent interest.

The union and State Government has provided the much needed safety shield to farmers considering their valuable contribution for agriculture by launching Bhawantar Yojana. As a sum of Rs 15500 crore has been deposited in the bank account of over 10 lakh farmers.On the occasion eminent present were Rajesh Thakur President Nagar Kissan Morcha, Dinesh Patel Mandal president, Shrikant Upadhaya , Satyendra Patel, Dalchandra Vishwakarma, Shailendra Dubey, Manoj Yadav, Ajay Rajak and others.
