Country moving on path shown by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar: CM

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis garlanded the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Samvidhan Chowk, on Saturday to mark his 127th birth anniversary

Every citizen got the right of living because of Constitution of India, given by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. The nation is making progress because of the Constitution. Every person should pay tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and perform duties as Indian citizen honestly. This was stated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, after garlanding statue of Dr Ambedkar at Samvidhan Chowk, on Saturday to mark his 127th birth anniversary.

Mayor Nanda Jichkar, MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, MLA Krishna Khopde, Divisional Commissioner Anoop Kumar, Sandip Joshi, Sandip Jadhav, Kishor Palandurkar, Vikram Kukreja, Dayashankar Tiwari, Jayprakash Gupta, Bhojraj Dumbe, Rambhau Ambulkar, Sunil Mitra, Murali nagpure, Avinash Dhamgaye, Gopal Bankar, Chandrashekhar Dorlikar and a large number of workers were present.
Fadnavis said that the nation and the state is moving on the path laid down by Dr Ambedkar and will continue to follow it in the future. He extended best wishes to the followers of Dr Ambedkar present on the occasion.

Those present raised the slogan of ‘Babasaheb Ambedkar Amar Rahe’ to which Fadnavis and other workers responded enthusiastically. Fadnavis did not make any speech and left within a few minutes.

A huge crowd of followers of Dr Ambedkar, representatives of different organisations had gathered at the venue, which was beautifully decorated. Stalls of books, decorative articles, magazines attracted attention of the visitors.

A musical programme based on songs describing life and work of Dr Ambedkar was in progress and the visitors were responding to the programme. Many also donated some amount to encourage the musicians.
