IGP holds meeting to review law and order arrangements in zone

Inspector General of Police (IGP) (Jabalpur Zone) Anant Kumar Singh chaired a meeting of officers to review law and order arrangements in the zone at his office, on Monday.
Addressing the meeting, IG, Anant Kumar Singh congratulated the Superintendents of Police for maintaining law and order arrangements during Bharat Bandh call of different political and other organisations. He directed the officers for maintaining their performance in forthcoming festivals of Parshuram Jayanti and Buddha Poornima. He directed for identifying black spots to check increasing number of road accidents and taking preventive measures for saving lives of several innocent persons.During the review meeting, SPs were directed for making necessary improvements in CCTNS and taking stern measures for avoiding circulation of information on sensitive issues on social media. They were also directed for putting-up vigilant check on women related cases and organizing monthly meetings of self-help groups at police stations. Officers were instructed for developing Bal Mitra corners/rooms at police stations.

IG directed the officers for releasing transfer or vacation related orders of employees on Personal Information System (PIS) and taking stern action against fraudulent companies and illegal money launders. He also said for taking necessary action for improving traffic management and prompt disbursal of pending SC/ST related cases.During the meeting, DIG Jabalpur Range, Chhindwara Range, Superintendents of Police, Jabalpur, Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni and Narsinghpur were present.
