Narsinghpur police starts intensive road safety campaign

NARSINGHPUR

A week-long programme on ‘Road Safety Week’ was organised from April 23 to 30. The programme began with flagging off traffic chariot by the Superintendent of Police, on April 28. It may be informed that with this Traffic Chariot public in entire district, will be made aware of traffic rules as well, a film on road safety from accidents will be shown in this chariot via projector. On April 24 the traffic police will distribute stickers and pamphlets based on traffic rules among the common people.
On traffic chariot, message was given and film was shown to the people at public places, main squares of Narsinghpur district including Mushran square, Gandhi Square, Subhash Park Square, Municipality Square and previous bus stand.
Traffic police also gave various information to the students in an event on road safety held at Narsingh Public School and Chawra Vidyapeeth. They also officials apprised students about traffic rules and road accidents and perils of under-age driving. Amongst those present on the occasion were Additional Superintendent of Police, SDOP Narsinghpur, Thana Incharge of Traffic and other officials.
