District Police conduct flag march in city

District police conducted flag march in new city area lead by Bhopal SP (South) Rahul Kumar Lodha on Tuesday. The march was staged in order to maintain law and order situation in the State capital. The flag march was conducted after instructions of maintaining law and order, continuous patrol and vigil were issued from State Police Headquarters to all Superintendent of Police across the state to avoid untoward incident and restore confidence among masses as violent protest claiming 8 lives were reported across the state opposing the dilution of SC and ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. Following the instructions, SP Bhopal (South) Rahul Kumar Lodha led flag march was conducted in the new city area on Tuesday. The flag march started at noon from Police Control Room and passed through Banganga square, Hotel Palash, Jawahar square, Depot square, PNT square, Ambedkar Nagar, Mata Mandir, Harshvardhan Nagar, Kolar trisection, Manisha Market, 10 no stop, DRM office, Anna Nagar, Board office, Arera Hills and returned to police control room. In the flag march district police, STF, RAF and SAF were also present.

The flag march of North division was conducted in the evening on Tuesday. The flag march was started at around 5.30 pm from police control room and passed through Budhwara, Moti Masjid, Shahjehanabad,
Teelajamalpura, Karond and culminated at police control room. The flag march was led by CSP Ajay Singh, who has given charge of SP (North) in absence of SP Hemant Chouhan. CSP Ajay Singh was accompanied with ADM GP Mali, ASP Rajesh Bhadauriya and ASP Sameer Yadav.
