Schools reopen for new session

Many CBSE schools of Steel City reopened for the new academic year on Monday and Tuesday, while others will begin their new academic session from April 4 and 5. Attired in brand-new uniforms, the children turned up at their respective schools in Steel City on Tuesday, after examination break. Great excitement and enthusiasm was seen among the students studying in these schools as they were eager to meet their friends. “I was getting restless at home. In fact, I am anxious to go to the school and meet my friends,” said Anushka a student of class-8th. “I love going to the school as at home, I was feeling bore and lazy. There are lots of activities apart from classroom studies that keep us busy,” said Sankalp Sharma, a class 12th student. Though not all children had turned up, the school authorities said the schools would function in full strength from June. Attendance will improve from in the coming days added the schools.


Among the schools that begin the new academic session from Monday and Tuesday are all BSP run Schools, DPS Bhilai, KPS Nehru Nagar, KH Memorial, Shakuntala Vidyalaya and Sharda Vidyalaya to name some. Schools such as MGM, Sector-6 will reopen on April 4 and Sri Sankara, Sector-10 will kick off the newsession from April 5. School authorities have made preparations to welcome the young buds. As per schools, the beginning of a new session is always an auspicious time - a time for new hopes and renewed dreams. The school campus bloomed to receive new life with the echoes of the students.
