Flesh trade racket busted, two arrested

WOMEN police busted a flesh trade racket and arrested a woman and a girl at a residential colony in Hriday Nagar near Kripal Chowk under jurisdiction of Gorakhpur police station, on Wednesday evening. The accused have been identified as Sujata Pal, a resident of Kripal Chowk and a girl named Pooja (25), native of Kalkaji in Delhi. SHO of Women’s Police station Sushmita Niyogi informed that police received information that a woman runs flesh trade at her residence in Kripal Chowk area. Taking a serious note on the information, a policeman was deployed to collect evidences. Police found that the woman hired a girl from Delhi for flesh trade. The girl was hired at rate of Rs 30,000 for four days and woman charged Rs 1,000 for 30 minutes.


Once the information was confirmed, a team of women police station raided the house and arrested the woman and call girl from the spot. SHO Sushmita Niyogi informed that the woman named Sujata Pal was earlier arrested for running flesh trade. Women police have registered a case against the accused while further investigations are underway to identify other girls working in the prostitution network.
