SP directs officers to keep vigil eye on suspicious elements

Officiating Superintendent of Police Kumar Saurabh chaired an important meeting of police officers following the declaration of alert by the police headquarters late night on Tuesday. Addressing the meeting, SP Kumar Saurabh directed the officers for keeping vigilant eye on suspicious elements and their activities as coming ten days are crucial for maintaining law and order arrangements in the district. He also cancelled the holidays and leaves of police officers for avoiding any kind of untoward incident in coming days.


SP, Kumar Saurabh instructed the officers for ensuring availability of riot control materials and vehicles fitness to take prompt action in case of any untoward incident. He took information of pending sensitive crime cases and police preparations for handling any kind of agitation.Senior police officers were strictly directed for visibility of police at public places, main streets and squares. Officers should maintain coordination with administrative officers and keeping eye on suspicious activities. SP Kumar Saurabh also directed the officers for not spending much time at police stations but ensure their presence on field for better maintenance of law and order and monitoring of their patrolling teams.Additional SPs and CSPs were instructed for promptly giving report of law and order arrangements and any suspicious incident in their respective areas.During the meeting, Additional SPs, DSPs, CSPs and SHOs of urban and rural police stations were present.
