Sudden turn of weather causes losses to property in Dola

Sudden change of weather with high velocity wind caused losses to house owners, shop-keepers and in market places in gram panchayat Dola in Anuppur district. Around 10 to 15 houses were damaged badly due to high velocity winds in the village. Five people were also injured in the village including Saiyad Ansari, Manas Singh, Ikhthekar Ansari and others who sustained injuries on head and other body parts. The affected people whose houses received sever damage due to high velocity winds have been identified as Jannat Shah son of Amanat Shah, Deepak Kewat son of Bhoora Lal Kewat, Sharda Shah, Dwarika Sing son of Shivraj Singh, Ramlal Chandravanshi, Santosh Shah, son of Shambhu Shah, Santosh Rajak, son of Baldeen Rajak, Krishnapal Singh, son of Yagyanarayan Singh, Ram Naresh Gupta, son of Ramsharan Gupta, Nan Bai, wife of Gaindalal and Akhtar Ansari, son of Saiyad Ansari and others. The intensity of winds in the storm was so impactful that it even uprooted and damaged the parfait walls constructed by people on their roof tops. While in village Bargavan the Radhe STD Centre’s roof got uprooted due to high velocity winds in storm.
