Entrepreneurs to share success stories at TiEcon 2018

ONE may have an idea, known-how and a lot of confidence about the idea. But if funds are not available to convert ideas into successful profit making ventures, ideas remain ideas. How can start-up generate interest of an investor? When should they seek funding? What are the liabilities of start-ups towards an investor? Participants will get to know all these and listen to the stories of successful founders who
secured funding and incubation for their ventures.


TiE Nagpur will be organising TiEcon event which will be held at Persistent Systems, IT Park, South Ambazari Road, Nagpur. Timings will be from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm. One such panelist in ‘Start-up Evolution’ session will be Aditi Rohan, Founder of Elanic. Elanic started with a seed round of funding from Singapore-based Japanese venture capital firm Rebright Partners, Tracxn Labs, and angel investor Aneesh Reddy, this Bengaluru-based platform simplifies buying and selling of pre-owned fashion for women in India, and features brands from well-known global and Indian labels like Ritu Kumar and Anamika Khanna.


Another Founder will be Angad Singi, Founder of Lithos Motors, A passionate maker, founder, traveler, learner, biker and a mechanical engineer from RCOEM, Nagpur. He focuses all his energy in thinking solution to radical problems. He founded an automobile start-up focused on commercial electrical mobility solution (Foldable Electric Mopeds) for individuals.


Udit Kejriwal is founder of Trapiago. Trapigo was founded in 2017 by a group of IIM, IIT, NIFT, and NID alumni, targeting to solve last mile logistics problem in a complex geography like India. Trapigo is unique in its solution as it has built a backend algorithm to deliver articles to the travelling customer (e.g: on moving trains) apart from the usual static ones.


Trapigo is a last mile B2B logistics service provider, with pick-up and delivery options for food, travel essentials and other amenities, on trains catering to the vast population of Indian Railways and travelers. Trapigo has officially partnered with IRCTC for food deliveries at multiple locations. They will soon kick-start operations at Nagpur as first location.


Devendra Gupta started as student entrepreneur at IIT, Kharagpur and got incubated there along with his three friends. As a start-up in cleantech sector received many national and international awards like Dow Sustainability Innovation Challenge, ET – Power of Ideas, Stanford’s Worlds Top 30 Ideas, to name a few. Ecozen has been featured on CNBC TV 18 and ET Now’s ‘Power of Shunya’. He is on panel of CII Task Force for cold chain and is amongst the ‘50 Most Influential Sustainability Leaders list in 2017’.


One such interesting start-up from Nagpur is Tsecond Generation Technology and based at Nagpur. Sahil Chawla is one of the founders of the company. They invented Electronic Funnel, secured a copyright with Bern Convention which is valid in 168 countries. They have signed a MoU with Indian Angel Network for Incubation. Sahil is youngest member and representative of Central India Electronic Association, Nagpur.


Another start-up from Nagpur in the field of clean energy will be Fineffi Energy Solutions. Kunal Gadre is one of the founders. Kunal is passionate about energy efficiency since his graduation days. After a successful career in the field, he Co-founded FinEffi Energy Solutions, an energy efficiency marketplace to cater the energy needs of domestic and commercial sector.
