NSPCL allocates Rs 74 lakh for road widening to BMC

The road widening work of Canal Road from St. Thomas College to Borsi Road has to be done with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore 31 lakh. Due to the less breadth of the road the residents of Talpuri, Maitri Kunj, Risali and NSPCL Conoly Borsi has to face trouble. For the widening of the road the tender has been invited by Bhilai Municipal Corporation. To complete the road widening work NSPCL from its CSR Fund will allocate Rs 74 lakh to complete the first phase of the road widening work. In this regard the NSPCL officials met with BMC Commissioner, KL Chouhan at his office and handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Commissioner. Accounts Officer of BMC, HK Chandrakar, Commissioner Steno, Purushottam Sahu along with NSPCL officials were present on the occasion.
