Congress Nyay Yatra reaches Bhopal; attacks govt

ON ITS second day, Congress’s Nyay Yatra, led by State Congress President Arun Yadav and Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh, reached Bhopal on Friday. It took the form of assembly at Iqbal Maidan where Congress leaders made a scathing attack on Bhartiya Janta Party Government, seeking justice in Preeti Raghuvansi suicide case and justice to other burning issues as well.

Addressing the gathering, Arun Yadav said that law and order has collapsed in State and due to this reason, crime has increased against women. He alleged that two laws prevail in Madhya Pradesh, one is for wards of ministers and capitalists and other law is for common people. If not so then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should come clean on the issue that why no FIR has been registered against Minister Rampal Singh and his son in Preeti Raghuvansi suicide case even after 21 days of incident.

Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh said that attitude of State Government in Preeti Raghuvansi suicide case is shameful. He claimed that CM often talk about action against miscreants and hooligans but recently around two dozen such incidents came when this stand stood exposed.He criticised Minister Rampal Singh for accepting Preeti Raghuvansi after her suicide incident. He urged people to remove the BJP Government in next elections. On this occasion, senior Congress MLA Arif Aqueel, women Congress State president Mandvi Chouhan, District Congress President P C Sharma, Ashok Jain Bhaba, Mahendra Singh Chouhan and others were present. Earlier, rally received warm welcome from its way to Bhopal from Udaipura.
