Govt will market products of women SHGs: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the products manufactured by the women self help groups will be marketed by the State Government. He informed that work to stitch uniforms of school children and prepare nutritious food for anganwadi centers will be undertaken through the self help groups. Chouhan was addressing the Mahila Sammelan and Antodaya Mela at Jirapur block headquarters of Rajgarh district on Friday.

Chouhan while informing about the schemes of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development and Government’s decisions said that gram and red lentil will be procured in mandis of the state from April 10. Gram at the support price of Rs 4,400 per quintal will be procured and the state government will also give an incentive amount of Rs 100 per quintal over it. He further informed that benefit of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana will also be given to those farmers, who sell wheat and gram outside mandi. Chouhan stated that the State Government will bear interest of loan and compound interest under the Samadhan Yojana.

Chief Minister Chouhan expressed happiness over the registration of three lakh labourers of the unorganised sector till now in Rajgarh district under the Asangathit Shramik Kalyan Yojana. While congratulating the district administration for the achievement, Chouhan informed that the benefit off Asangathit Shramik Kalyan yojana will be given to the farmers holding up to 2.5 acre land also. In addition to this, under this scheme the eligible homeless persons will also be benefitted under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana.

Moreover, Chouhan mentioned that irrigation facility will be expanded in 6 lakh acre area through under-construction Mohanpura and Kundaliya irrigation schemes at Rajgarh district. He further stated that potable water facility to every house will be expanded through group tap-water schemes by these dams. During the Mahila Sammelan and Antodaya Mela, CM Chouhan dedicated and laid foundation of 47 construction and development works costing over Rs 77 crore in Rajgarh district. He also distributed benefits and certificates to the beneficiaries of various government schemes and gathered information about the products of self-help groups by visiting their stalls. Member of Parliament Rodmal Nagar, MLAs Hazarilal Dangi, Amarsingh Yadav, Narayan Singh Pawar, Kunwar Kothar, chairperson Zila Panchayat Gayatri Jaswant Gurjar, Vice Chairman Khadi Gramodyog Board Raghunandan Sharma and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
