Shri Sankalp Hospital to come up with better standards

Shri Sankalp Hospital is going to be functional within a week at Ring Road, Sarona, as an institution like small nursing homes in different branches of medical care under one roof with standards better than the prevailing ones in the city in all aspects at affordable price.


The hospital is dream project of 25 to 30 doctors in the city and it has 200 beds of which 90 beds are for ICU, ICCU, NICU and emergency treatment, 60 in general wards, 8 for dialysis , 6 in burn unit and 36 beds in private, semi-private and super deluxe category, informed Dr Shailendra Upadhyay accompanied with a number of other doctors at a press conference in the hospital on Saturday.


NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) standards are being followed in all the departments. Fire safety and electrical norms are being given due importance and every bed has wheels so that in case of fire mishap the patients can be easily shifted outside through ramp. Another feature of the institution is triage, which means segregation of patients as per their conditions and ensuring that the most serious ones get the needed attention immediately. Cath Lab of the hospital is the most modern in country and it is the fourth institution in the country having the kind of lab. State of the art Neurology, Neuro-Surgery, Paediatric Medicine and Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine, Burn, General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Gastroenterology unit, ENT, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental and Maxillofacial unit and plastic surgery departments are there in the hospital.


The hospital also has modular operation theatre and also equipped to undertake minimal invasive approach in different surgeries. Besides, there is also computer navigation for neurosurgery and joint replacement. On the path shown by state Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, the hospital will provide services to the patients under different programmes of Government.
