Cong’s Gajendra Sonkar stages dharna against BJP Govt

To mourn the death of eight people in the protest demonstration and clash on April 2 Bharat Bandh protest due to which law and order got disturbed in different parts of the state and even curfew was imposed in some cities, the Congress workers led by Jabalpur East Assembly Leader, Gajendra Sonkar sit on dharna and fasting in front of the statue of Baba Sahib Dr Bheem Rao Ambedkar at Tehsili Square, on Sunday. Addressing the day-long dharna protest, Congress leader Gajendra Sonkar said that the Bharatiya Janata Party Government in the State is proving a failure on all fronts. Hence to hind the failure of State Government it seems that a conspiracy is being hatched in the State and issues that could disturb the communal harmony are being provoked with clear intentions. He said that major issues in the state like suicide of farmers, unemployment, illegal mining, inflation spiral and VYAPAM like scams are being ignored and to take away attention of public from such serious issues and failures of State Government. He said such issues are a major threat to the democracy.

Eminent amongst those who shared their views includes Tilak Block Congress Committee President, Corporator, Dharmendra Sonkar, Mohd Sabir Usmani, Pooran Aahirwar, Raju Upadhyay, Dharmendra Satnami, Muktar Mansuri, Prashant Patiyaal, Shailesh Rajak, Sandeep Sonkar, Amit Choudhary, Sukku Chakrabarty, Ranjeet Kori, Bacchan Yadav, Rohit Choudhary, Changi Sonkar, Durgesh Bain, Shainky Rajak, Anil Thakur, Anand Sonkar, Ratan Aahirwar, Raja Banskar, Munnu Patel, Pancham Jha, Sachin Sonkar, Anshul Thakur, Khaleel Khan, Haider Khan and large number of Congress workers were present.
