Over 30,000 labourers enrolled during BJP’s week-long camps

The week-long series of special camps organised by Bharatiya Janata Party Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana Prakoshta to enroll labourers under Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Suraksha Yojana was ended on Sunday.Senior office-bearers and members of the Prakoshta enrolled over 30,000 labourers of unorganise sections including those who work factories, mills, drive auto, rickshaw pullers, operate milk business, prepare pickle, papad, bricks etc.City Convener, Amar Mishra informed that in last seven days the Prakoshta organised registration camps at several places in all 14 Mandals of the city. Informing about the scheme he said the Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana Prakoshta with an aim to uplift living standard of labourers besides providing them security in times of need. He said the scheme covers labourers from 18 to 60 years of age.


Mishra said under the scheme, pregnant women of labourers' families are given expenses incurred on delivery as well as six weeks' wages, his husband is given two weeks' wages along with paternity leave. Likewise, pregnant women are given Rs 4000 for nutritional meal and Rs 12,500 is transferred into their Bank account.Apart from that Rs 2,00,000 is given on the death of family head and Rs 4,00,000 for accidental death. Similarly, land and house is also provided to landless labourers and they too are provided with loan for establishing self employment. The Government also provides scholarships to children from class 1 to 12 and for post-graduate studies also. Amongst those extended support in conducting the camps are Hemant Sahu, Tusar Sareen, Mamta Singh, Rahul Sen, Shivam Dubey, Jahid Ansari, Sunaina Goklani, Pratibha Pathak, Hemant Raikwar, Sanjay Gupta, Harshul Trivedi, Sunil Goswami, Ram Shukla, Rakesh Shripal, Badal Pille, Suraj Rao, Shubham Yadav, Anuj Thakur, Nitin Vishwakarma, and others.
