Rajendra Jaiswal igniting passion among people

DETERMINATION, focus on goal and converting criticisms into positive energy, are the success mantras shared by Rajendra Jaiswal, a Marathon runner from city, who has made it to Guinness Book of World Records.


Energising the entrepreneurs at the 7th edition of TiEcon 2018, Jaiswal, in his session on ‘I can achieve’, received a standing ovation. Narrating his journey to the gathering as a marathon participant, Jaiswal, a Civil Engineer from Indore, said, “I came to Nagpur with just Rs 1,500 in my pocket. I started as a petty labour contractor. Sadly, in few years, I became bed-ridden due to diabetes, thyroid and knee problem. As suggested by some of my friends to contact Dr Anant Joshi, who had cured Sachin Tendulkar while the cricketer was suffering from tennis elbow. I managed to get Dr Joshi’s appointment after three months.

Dr Joshi had suggested me few exercise, and asked me to take up walking. I not only accepted his advice but also encouragement my friends who are associated with the Orange City Runners Club to take up serious running. Later, we started participating in marathon events. In my second marathon in Satara, I ran uphill for 10 kms and back. This became a record feet. I was acknowledged for this by Guinness Book of World Records.”
Jaiswal has to his credit many international marathons, and ran upto 161 kms, till date.


On the concluding day of the two-day TiEcon 2018, Jaiswal was interviewed by Shashank Garg of Infocepts.
He did manage to ignite passion among the audience to give 100 per cent and meet challenges in life. Shashank Garg of Infocepts moderated the session.
