Zee TV is coming up with the third season of India’s Best Dramebaaz and is presently auditioning kids in the age group of 5-14 years in major cities of the country. Last season’s finalist Tamanna Dipak was recently in the city call out all dramebaaz to grab the opportunity and embark on a new journey.

Dressed in a peach coloured frock, she was no less than a princess who knows how to capture one’s attention and hearts both! Recalling her journey she says, “I am basically from Assam. By nature, I am very extrovert and naughty. It was my elder sister who prodded me to try it out during one of the auditions being held at Kolkata. And that’s how my journey began. With each passing day, I was exposed to numerous up and downs on the show, which helped me to learn newer things in life. People say that TV is a bad thing, but it has helped me to polish my Hindi, which was a big hindrance for me initially and I have mastered it now, hopefully. And since then, there is no looking back. It is an overwhelming feeling that people are appreciating your acts and are actually voting for you. I became an instant celebrity and have done a few shows and I am presently anchoring DID Little Masters with Jay Bhanushali,” elaborates the little angel with all the dose of nautanki and nakhras.

Ask her what are the qualities that the makers are looking for during auditioning and pat comes the reply, “Yes, kids should be spontaneous, naughty and should be quick to react. They should be able to sing and dance as well. They should master the languages too. In short, we are looking at a complete package of entertainment. If your kid is having these qualities, do rush to audition, for this is the best platform to hone the entertainment quotient of your child and make him a star,” remarks the ‘chubby cheeks’.
The format of the show will be the same, but with newer challenges for each contestant. The judges are probably same as the last season. Tamanna was at her animated best while recreating some of her best moments from the show.

Tell her to compare the experience of anchoring with that of dramebaazi and she is quick to respond, “In dramebaazi, everything is scripted which you are just following. At times, you may add a personal touch at the spur of the moment, which definitely gives you a creative high. But in anchoring, things are quite spontaneous. You get to add so much to the show with live jokes, instant poem or on the spot anecdotes. I enjoyed both the stint. And moreover, I was on cloud nine when I got the opportunity to meet my idol Amitabh Bachchan during DID Little Masters,” enthuses the ‘fairy’.

Quiz her that at the crucial age of 5-14 years, academics is at its peak so is the show a distraction for such kids, and after a momentary pause she says, “Yes, I do agree that it is a crucial age from academics point of view, but this is a golden opportunity to bring your talent in limelight and these kinds of opportunities don’t come to you too often. Everything has its own importance in life. Due importance must be given to academics, but please grab this chance too, for this might me a life changing offer for you. I am thankful to my sister, who like a Hitler, would stand right near me so that I could learn tables by heart and she made sure that my academics was never affected,” clears Tamanna.
