DEO, DPC face action for non-distribution of cycles

District Collector Alok Kumar Singh directed officers to serve notice to DEO and DPC as they failed to fulfill target of distribution of bicycle to students of class VI and IX. The Time Limit meeting meeting was also attended by CEO, District Panchayat Chandrashekhar Shukla, Joint Collector C P Patel, City Magistrate Avinash Rawat and other officers.The Collector directed officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Forest, RES departments for better working in field of water conservation. Collector Singh reviewed Nal Jal Yojna of PHE Department and asked officers for making efforts for better drinking water supply. He directed officers for visiting fields and each day two Nal Jal Yojna should be monitored under guidance of CEO, district panchayat. CEO, Janpad Panchayats were asked for sending list of completed Nal Jal Yojna and then verifying it.


Collector Singh expressed annoyance on PHE department not achieving satisfactory progress in the allotted targets.
He inquired about the progress of distribution of scholarship of last year to students. Those students who have not received scholarship, they should be given within 15 days. Then Collector inquired in details about the e-procurement software, procurement of wheat from farmers, transportation, storage, payment and others. He directed officers of agriculture department that those farmers from whom procurement was done till April 30, they should be done the payment within this week. At the procurement centers, procurement worth Rs 95 crores has been done and transportation worth Rs 65 crores has been done. MarkFed has been directed for arranging computer system and operators at godowns.


Cooperative Bank officers were asked to arrange more sewing machine at Mandi for sewing of gunny bags. The Collector directed SDM and CEO, Janpad for surprise inspection of Mid Day Meal being distributed in primary and middle schools and in case any irregularity is found then strict action should be taken. PIU department working was not satisfactory hence Collector directed to service notice to Superintendent Engineer PIU.He directed Assistant Commissioner, Excise department for closing of the ‘Aahta’ being run at railway stations, bus stands and other places.
