Man arrested for killing wife

Shahpura police have nabbed a 30-year-old man, who killed his 25-year-old wife at Meera Nagar on May 3, said SP South Bhopal Rahul Kumar Lodha while speaking with the mediapersons.He said that the accused Guddu alias Kurban Singh stabbed Babli alias Chandani in the afternoon on May 3 after having a dispute with the deceased. The accused was having relationship with Babli for long time after she separated from her first husband and in the month of January 2018 he married her.

The reason behind the murder was Babli’s friendship with other men and when he saw her with other men he told her to mend her ways but she continued to meet them which frustrated him and he finally decided to kill her. On the day of murder when the accused spotted Babli’s at Meera Nagar over her scooter bearing registration number MP-04 SR-6040 he followed her and stabbed her to death. He burnt clothes he wore at the time of the murder.

During the investigation police also found that the deceased wanted that Guddu’s wife should not become pregnant and she want to stay at his house and wanted share in his property. The accused confessed that he went absconding and stayed in Mandideep, Betul, Madamjhiri, Bena and Sagar. On May 3, sensation prevailed after a woman was lying in a pool of blood, injured with stabbed sharp edged weapon was spotted by locals and informed the police. The woman was married twice after having differences and disputes with her first husband Vijay Puri and after separation from Vijay she came into contact with Guddu Chouhan.
