402 cases of unauthorised construction disposed of

As many as 402 cases related unauthorised construction were disposed of by the committee headed by District Collector O P Choudhary in a meeting held at collectorate on Saturday.
To date, 7,305 such cases were resolved under the special campaign launched recently by administration. District Collector directed officials concerned to give momentum to authourisation of unauthorised constructions.

Collector also asked for approving map as per the master plan and adequate parking in case of any one opening shop in his/her residential premises. Non-residential constructions will be authorised only when they have enough parking spaces for vehicles, said the Collector. Similarly, the construction should not acquire land meant for road and then only the constructions will be authorised. Also present in the meeting were Town and Country Planning joint director Vinit Nair, RMC Zone Commissioner and other officials.
