‘Hum Kare Rashtra Aradhan’, a mega play throwing light on work process of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh was staged at Manas Bhawan, on Saturday. A team of 40 artists gave live performance under the banner of Mahalaxmi Production, Nagpur.

The costumes and acting of the artists was so real that it made the audience experience the circumstances of year 1925. The play shed light on the foundation of the Sangh. 1925 was the time period when there was no platform present to talk of Hindu's benefits and give impetus to Hindu ideology. Benefits of Hindus were being violated.

Ultimately, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar felt the national need of Hindu Organisation. He founded Sangh. The basic aim of foundation of the Sangh was not to spread hatred for other religions or communities but to safeguard the identity of Hindus.

The play was staged to tie various aspects like arrival of Mahatma Gandhi in Shakha, Sangh's perspective toward Kashmir, Sangh's role in freedom movement, Sangh's ideology of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam etc, in one string.
Sangh recognises existence of all religions, different believes, organisations and great leaders. It believes in taking the national ahead by maintaining the esteem of Bharatmata (mother India). This was the essence of the play.

Subodh Surjikar directed the play while Avinash Ghangrekar wrote the script.
All senior Swayamsevaks, eminent persons of the city, senior office bearers of various organisations and gathered at Manas Bhawan to enjoy the play organised by Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandal.
