Naxals who sabotaged Health Centre nabbed

Naxals, involved in sabotaging the newly-built health centre on Mankeli road, have been arrested on Saturday. According to the report, the Red rebels vandalised the health centre in Badaguda on Mankeli road. After the incident, a case was registered at Bijapur police station under Sections 147,148,149, 427, 506(B ) of IPC and 25 of Arms Act. During investigation, police got information about the accused. Police swung into action and nabbed 2 Naxalites involved in damaging the health centre. The arrested Naxals were identified as Laxman Mandavi son of Somu Mandavi(24), resident of Mankeli, Tongpar.


Manku Korsa son of Sannu Korsa (23), resident of Mankeli Korsapara.On intense interrogation, the accused admitted to have been involved in the destruction of health centre. The weapons used in the incident were seized. The arrested accused were produced before court and sent to jail.
