Singh unveils statue of Rani Awanti Bai

State BJP President Rakesh Singh said that development took place in Khurai area in last many years is beyond expectations. The developmental work should not stop. In coming election, locals should support BJP and become part of development. He expressed these views at the function held for unveiling of statue of Queen Rani Awanti Bai and dedication of Rani Awanti Bai Bus Stand at Bandri.The chief guest on the occasion was Home and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Singh said that in small place bus stand with cost of Rs 3 crores has been built which indicates the level of development in the area. this is start of development and if people wish that this spree of development should continue then they should support BJP in coming election. .He said that people should remember what was condition of Bundelkhand 14 years back, condition of roads, power, water. He said that Congress has no issues and hence making false claims.Home Minister Bhupendra Singh said that in last 70 years, great freedom fighters, great leaders were not given due attention and hence now efforts are being made to give due honour to brave kings, queen freedom fighters. In Khurai, with cost of Rs 25 lakh, statue of Rani Awanti Bai has been set up and funds were pooled by locals. On the birth and death anniversary of Rani Awanti Bai, many functions would be organised. He informed that 2.5 acre land from has been taken from the Forest Department for bus stand. In the adjoining 2.5 acre land, marriage hall would be built. Five acre land from police station would be taken for construction of college building, On the occasion some 300 Congress party workers took membership of BJP led by Raja Singh. State BJP General Secretary BD Sharma, district BJP President Prabhudayal Patel, Narayan Kabirpanthi, Sudhir Yadav, Abhay Singh, Jahar Singh and others were present.
