AAP prepares future strategy in executive committee meet

AAM Admi Party’s (AAP) State executive meeting was held at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday. AAP leaders deliberated on future strategy for upcoming assembly polls, future programmes, mandal convention etc. Discussion was also held on party’s State Convenor Alok Agrawal decision to sit on indefinite hunger strike from May 26. During the meeting, AAP gave various responsibilities to party leaders and workers and also reviewed preparations of coming assembly elections. It was told that party completed 50 per cent work in connection with appointment of Mandal President at polling station level.

In last executive meeting, AAP had fixed the target to appoint Mandal President at 42,000 polling stations. Against this target, more than 21,000 Mandal Presidents have been appointed so far. The remaining Mandal Presidents will be appointed by May 26. On the occasion, State Coordinator of AAP, Alok Agrawal told that people are fed up with anti people policies of State Government. All sections of society are not happy with Government. He shared his experience of ‘Poha Chaupal’ held at various places of State to know people’s problem and claimed that people are breathing fire against State Government and wants change.

He also added that people do not construe Congress as option against BJP as memories of ten years rule of Congress regime is still fresh in their minds. In this circumstance, it is the responsibility of AAP to provide better option to people. AAP’s State Organisation Secretary, Yuvraj Singh told that indefinite fast of May 26 will provide new direction to politics. Meanwhile, AAP took many important decisions in Sunday’s meeting. AAP is going to organise Mandal Conventions from May 16 to May 18 in all 230 assembly seats of State. Moreover, special teams have been constituted to prepare strategy over burning issues such as road, farmers, education, health etc.
