Girls outshine boys in MPBSE class X, XII

It is the matter of happiness that the results of Class XII and X of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) was excellent this year. Girls have outperformed boys in both the examinations. Passing percentage of class XII is 68.07 per cent, passing percentage class X stands at 66.54 per cent. District Neemuch remained topper in both class X and XII highest percentage of result. In the results of total 5,94,699 regular class XII examinees’ results, 2,34,095 examinees secured first division, 1,52,534 secured second division and 18,222 examinees secured third division. In this way, total 40,4871 examinees passed in the examination.
Among 8,19,250 examinees of class X whose result have been declared, 2,79,548 have secured first division, 2,17,231 secured second division and 48,358 have secured third division. This way, total 5,45,137 students have passed the examination.

The especially abled students under blind and deaf and dumb category also performed excellently in the board examinations. In this category, 84.44 per cent boys and 86.79 per cent girls passed with good result in class XII. Total pass percentage remained 85.12 per cent. While in class X, passing percentage remained 74.80 per cent, among which boys’ pass percentage remained 72.71 per cent and girls’ percentage was 78.26 per cent.
