Red rebels wreak havoc, disrupt train movement

Naxalites disrupted the movement of trains on Kirandul-Vishakhapatnam route by felling trees on the track and damaging cable network in Kuper area.According to information, over 100 Naxalites were involved in the incident. The outlaws escaped with walki-talki of train engine driver and guard. This is the reason police could not get information on time.When rail employees along with security forces reached the spot to restore the rail route, Naxals started firing on them and triggered a bomb blast. Police have recovered two bombs also. Besides this, Red rebels set afire a poclain machine. Naxalites had been damaging railway properties in the region.When security forces reached to clear the track, the Naxals lying in ambush started firing. Security forces
retaliated heavily forcing Red rebels to flee towards forest.
