Yoga reduces stress: Khandwe to bank employees

Renowned Yogacharya Rambhau Khandwe said that the many bank employees work under stress which affects their physical and mental health. However, he said that the employees may reduce the stress level by way of doing yoga.Khandwe was speaking at the felicitation function of some of the staff members of the Union Bank of India who superannuated recently. The event was organized under the banner of Union Bank Staff Association (UBSA), a body of the Union Bank of India staff members here in the city recently.


Khandwe further advised the bank employees and officers to perform their duties as if they are doing Yoga. “It will not only keep them happy but it will also set aside stress,” he added.
Apart from this, Khandwe wished best luck to all the superannuated employees and officers and hoped that they would excel in their second inning of life - the life post retirement. Nitin Borvankar, Deputy General Secretary - UBSA, Mohan Muley, and Neela Bhat were felicitated on the occasion. Vinayak Joshi, President of Vidarbha Bank Employees Federation (VBEF), and Avi Bhunralkar, All India President of State Bank Workers Organisation, also felicitated the superannuated employees and officers. Chandrakant Khanjode, General Secretary, while expressing his views, remembered contributions of superannuated employees.
Ashok Bhutad, Working President of BMS, presided over the function. Kishor Bapat conducted the proceedings of the function while Nanda Tapase proposed the vote of thanks. Amit Dhone, Manoj Hokam, Vaibhav Kalyankar, Naresh Selokar and others worked hard for the success of the function.
