30 complaints received during Jansunwai

A number of people attended Jansunwai orgnaised in the conference hall at Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) headquarters from 11 am to 1 pm, on Tuesday. People submitted complaints to senior officials and also apprised them of problems. Deputy Commissioner, R K Sharma along with other senior officials listened people’s grievances and received written complaints, related to encroachments, uncleanliness and water supply.The Deputy Commissioner informed that total 30 complaints were received during the Jansunwai and were forwarded to officials of concerned departments. He said some complaints were redressed at Jansunwai only. Though senior officials try to redress complaints at Jansunwai but many complaints need departmental process hence are forwarded to related departments, added Sharma and said he has directed head of all departments to ensure timely redressal of complaints so that people would not face problems.


It may be noted that the JMC organises Jansunwai at its headquarters on every Tuesday. Senior officials all departments present during the Jansunwai and try best to redress complaints during the day only. But if matters take further investigation and execution they forward it to concerned departments and redress the same within stipulated time limit.Officer Superintendent, H P Singh along with departmental heads were present
