Home and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh performed bhoomipujan and public dedication of construction work worth Rs 65 lakh in the Lok Kalyan Shivir held at Barodiyakalan.
The minister extended benefit of schemes to more than 500 beneficiaries. Singh said that each family residing in Khurai Assembly segment is part of his own family and being their public representative it is his responsibility to ensure that each family is happy and complete development of area takes place. .In the camp, people from Dabdera, Itwar, Mandri and Umrai panchayats participated. Singh performed bhoomipujan of cc road, houses, boundary wall, labourers shade, stage, veterinary clinic and others.


Singh gave away ‘patta’ of houses to 32 families, caste certificate to 57, land right loan book to 7 beneficiaries, nomination to 6 beneficiaries, Ladli Laxmi certificate to 15 beneficiaries, foodgrain slip to 54 beneficiaries, labour registration identity card to 110 beneficiaries, Karmkar Mandi card to 85 beneficiaries, National Family Aid Scheme to 5 beneficiaries and sanctioning letter of Social Security Pension to 16 beneficiaries. Addressing gathering, Singh said that in last three months ‘patta’ of houses has been given to 6000 families and in coming one and half year, this number would go to 15,000 families. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 6,000 houses have been sanctioned in Maulthaun block.
He informed that Beena River Project would bring prosperity in the area and each field would get water. Other irrigation projects would be sanctioned. He also heard problems of locals and directed officers for redressal.
