Naya Manch Vikas Manch Foundation (NMVMF), a NGO for upliftment and welfare of persons at the bottom of pyramid i.e. driver, farmer and labour was launched at the hands of Krupal Tumane, Member of Parliament from Ramtek. Present were Nanda Jichkar, City Mayor and Sharad Jichkar, Chief RTO, Nagpur. NMVMF is founded by Prahladrai Agrawal, owner of M/s Rinku Commercial Carriers, a renowned name in logistic sector. Tumane in his address said, “Transport services are an important constituent of economy and drivers are the backbone of this sector. He appreciated the initiative taken by NMVMF for welfare of this important class of employees and assured his support to the Foundation.


On this occasion driver Sajid Khan was felicitated by NMVM F and conferred with bravery award and sum of Rs one lakh as a token of acknowledgement and appreciation for his courageous act and averting unimaginable loss to life and property. He drove a burning petroleum tanker to move it from a petrol pump in Narsingpur to outskirts of city. Earlier, Krupal Tumane, MP, Nandatai Jichkar and Sharad Jichkar were felicitated with shawl, shriphal, bouquet and memento by Prahladrai Agrawal.


Shyamal Pal, Secretary of North East unit of Foundation conducted the programme and briefed the gathering about the mission and vision of NMVM Foundation. Vote of thanks was proposed by Vikram Daruka.Prominently present were Ajay Agrawal, Hemant Gandhi, President of NVCC, Prakash Mehadia, Ashwin Mehadia, Sanjay K Agrawal, Sachin Puniyani, Vijay Gaudar, DGM Sale of M&M, Ramesh Kumar, Editor ‘Drivers Duniya’, Syed Kausar of ACOGOA, Selvan of Transport Mitra, State Head of Foundation and drivers & transporters from region were present, informs press release by Sanjay K.
