High velocity winds, light showers likely in sporadic parts of State

Speedy winds, light showers and lightening activities are likely in some parts of districts situated in Gwalior, Chambal, Shahdol, Rewa, Sagar, Jabalpur divisions and districts including Hoshangabad, Betul, Raisen, Bhopal, Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone and Burhanpur. In last twenty four hours, light rains occurred in Indore, Ujjain, Rewa, Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. The rest places in state remained dry. Nights remain warm in Tikamgarh and Sheopurkalan. Bhopal witnessed bright day but in evening, speedy winds and cloudy sky provided solace to people from excruciating heat. The local forecast for Bhopal says that some parts of state may witness lightening activities during evening hours and winds will blow at the speed of 22 km per hour.

Maximum temperature will be around 42 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature will be around 29 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday, Bhopal recorded maximum temperature at 41.7 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal level. Jabalpur sizzled at maximum temperature of 42.1 degrees Celsius, Sagar 42.7 degrees Celsius, Damoh 44 degrees Celsius, Raisen 43 degrees Celsius, Naugaon 42.9 degrees Celsius, Gwalior 42.1 degrees Celsius, Gwalior 42 degrees Celsius, Guna 43.5 degrees Celsius, Rajgarh 43 degrees Celsius, Ratlam 43 degrees Celsius, Ratlam 42.4 degrees Celsius, Satna 41 degrees Celsius, Rewa 41.4 degrees Celsius, Sidhi 41 degrees Celsius, Indore 41.4 degrees Celsius, Hoshangabad 42.1 degrees Celsius etc.
